I am ready for Fall. I love everything about it. The cool crisp nip in the air. Warm toasty sweaters, the rosy cheeks on chubby toddlers, and colorful falling leaves. Yes, even raking them in big piles. Especially when my children were younger and they would jump and hide in the piles I raked up.
BUT, tomorrow is my oldest daughter's 18th birthday and we are having a BBQ for her. I hope the weather holds out so we can smell the charcoal one more time before we welcome the cooler weather.
